As a wedding photographer and filmmaker with over a decade of experience at Gurney's Montauk, I know how the light moves across the beach, which locations work best for portraits throughout the day, and how to create space for natural, unscripted moments.

Corinne and Jason Daniels chose to wed at Gurney's Montauk Resort in Montauk, New York, a place deeply connected to both of their families. Jason's family has spent over thirty years vacationing in Montauk, while Corinne grew up visiting Montauk Point with her father, making the location especially meaningful for their wedding day.

Inspired by the venue's nautical design and beachfront setting, the celebration featured a refined coastal palette with blue and sand tones woven throughout the details. Corinne wore a formfitting V-neck gown with loose, beachy waves, while Jason chose a classic navy suit and the bridesmaids wore soft tan gowns that complemented the seaside surroundings.

The couple exchanged vows along the beach beneath a romantic arch of greenery and roses, followed by an elegant indoor reception at Gurney's. Guests found their seats using custom hexagonal escort cards adorned with sea glass, while gold chiavari chairs, dusty pink linens, and white floral centerpieces created a warm and elevated atmosphere. A marbled wedding cake with gold leaf details became a favorite photo moment, and the night concluded with lively dancing, including a joyful hora. This Gurney's Montauk wedding was featured on The Knot.
