This couple’s Aspen, Colorado engagement shoot was featured in Rocky Mountain Bride Magazine! Kelsey and Tucker’s story began with a simple introduction through their respective families. Although Kelsey was living in a different state, their friendship remained strong. One day, Tucker decided to take their relationship to the next level, booking a flight to visit Kelsey and take her on their first official date. Over the next three years, Kelsey and Tucker fell deeply in love, and the rest, as they say, is history.
With a proposal in the works, Tucker told Kelsey they were heading to a casual BBQ with friends. To make it feel convincing, a friend called before they left, explaining on speakerphone that he was running late. Kelsey believed every word. As they drove, Tucker acted oblivious when they arrived at a familiar spot where the couple had picnicked years earlier during long distance visits. The setting was a picturesque location in Snowmass Village.
Tucker suggested getting out of the car to take a photo with their dog. With the tripod in hand, Kelsey thought it would be a perfect moment for a Christmas card. As she turned toward the camera, Tucker knelt down, holding an oval cut diamond ring. There was no BBQ after all, but Kelsey and Tucker did not need one. They were exactly where they were meant to be.
