Aspen and Snowmass Village Engagement Photography

I am an Aspen engagement photographer capturing thoughtful, natural engagement sessions in Aspen and Snowmass Village for couples who value connection, atmosphere, and storytelling. With over fifteen years of experience photographing celebrations in the mountains and beyond, my approach is calm, intentional, and rooted in creating images that feel effortless and authentic.

Aspen engagement sessions are less about posing and more about presence. The mountains, light, and quiet moments between you shape the experience just as much as the location itself. Whether your session takes place in Snowmass Village, along a secluded mountain trail, or in the heart of Aspen, my focus is on photographing your connection in a way that feels elevated yet entirely natural.

One of my recent Aspen engagement sessions was featured in Rocky Mountain Bride Magazine, highlighting a couple whose story unfolded across Aspen’s alpine landscape. Their engagement session is a perfect example of how these sessions can feel romantic, relaxed, and personal while still reflecting the beauty of the setting.

Aspen Engagement Sessions at Maroon Bells

Kelsey and Tucker’s engagement session unfolded quietly in the mountains, shaped by a place that already held meaning for them. Long before the proposal, Aspen and Snowmass Village had been part of their story, a landscape tied to years of visits, long distance moments, and shared traditions.

Their engagement session took place in Snowmass Village, surrounded by winter light and familiar trails where they had once spent slow afternoons together. What began as a casual moment quickly became something unforgettable, set against a peaceful alpine backdrop that felt entirely their own. The mountains offered space to breathe, to move naturally, and to simply be present with one another.

Photographing their session felt less like directing and more like observing. Between the quiet pauses, shared laughter, and their dog along for the ride, the experience reflected what Aspen engagement sessions do best. They create space for something personal, grounded, and unforced, with just enough adventure to make it unforgettable, including a snowmobile ride to the top of Maroon Bells! We ended the session just after sunset with drinks by the fireplace at the iconic Hotel Jerome. Their engagement marked the beginning of a season that later continued with a wedding celebration at Spruce Mountain Ranch.
